The publications I bought last week have finally arrived and the 1st offering I’ve added to my blog is a 1950’s sun bronze advertisement.
The 1950’s sun bronze advertisement is for Charles of the Ritz, a company that ran from 1910-2002. Charles Ritz originally ran a barber shop for men and a hairdressing parlour for women inside the Ritz-Carlton in New York; he also sold cosmetics and toiletries through his shops, some manufactured under his own label.

This is my re-touched version if you would like a cleaner look for a media, art or craft project:
This is an image of just the woman:
I can’t begin to tell you how many goodies is in this publication but I will be adding as many as I can to my blog, free for you to download. I don’t want to give anything away but if you’re a fan of Queen Elizabeth II you’ll love it!
I’ll be adding my next 1950’s image tomorrow; if you don’t want to miss it please subscribe!
