The latest addition to my blog are 6 vintage river scenes; a beautiful collection of decorative cards that you may find useful for art and craft projects.
I know nothing about these vintage river scenes; they’re printed on to card but they’re not a traditional greeting card that opens up, or a post card. 2 of the cards are smaller than the rest but you can tell that they’re all part of the same collection of illustrations.
These are the 6 original scans:
These are my re-touched versions if you’re wanting a cleaner look:
With images from my blog, I’ve actually used an online photo service with Aldi to create 100 prints. This cost me £6.99 (at the time of posting) which included V.A.T and delivery. They’ve turned out far better than I thought and I can now go on to use them in card apertures to make my own greetings cards. I’ll speak more about this in a later post.
I also have a gallery page with various vintage scenery illustrations if you like the images in this post, all free to download.
